It can work as a balanced arm sling, wrist support sling, shoulder immobiliser or clavicle brace. It is used as an orthopaedic medical device to treat patients who have had an injury such as a wrist fracture. The soft foam keeps the affected limb elevated while providing effective support to the elbow and wrist, without obscuring the affected limb and without applying unnecessary force to the injury.
